Do we need a part 2? YES!!!!
So much information was given during the community meeting that the teaser blog post would have been far to long and boring. To follow up Part 1 where we talked about Policing, Gangs, and Civilians in general and gave talking points about housing, businesses, mechanics, EMS and more. Check out Part 1, Teaser blog here
Do you want to have to go through the PED and create your character for CookoutRP V3? No, well then, the development team can assist bringing your character(s) from CookoutRP V2 to V3. To proceed with this, a ticket request will need to be completed to get the correct numbers for your characters heritage, facial features, makeup excluding clothing and accessories. From there you’ll be able to bring your beloved characters to V3 much quicker!
Did you support the city by means of VIP goods in CookoutRP V2? Currently the development team is looking into options for old VIP items purchased in CookoutRP V2.
Option 1: Return all the vehicles you acquired during V2 through tickets handled by batdad, Daddy Layton or Bunny.
Option 2: Give a tiered number of coins back to each player, allowing a head start on what’s new in CookoutRP V3.
As for the VIP Menu for CookoutRP V3 you’ll see it’ll become a little more automated and will no longer require developer intervention. You’ll see all new vehicles, items and other hush, hush additions.
Let’s start with something many have been asking about. Gambling! Along with the new Diamond Casino. A new casino? Didn’t we already get one? Yeah, but this is a spin on an old classic!
Along with this new visually stunning casino, you’ll be able to gamble on your phone, as well as in party groups. As batdad said, “I don’t want to spoil too much as testing is still in the works.” So, there will be more to do in the city!
Speaking about more to do! Do like to go diving and search the oceans for treasure? Well good news CookoutRP V3 has an all-new system for diving. Oh, they just changed the diving location. Wrong! The development team has the ability to adjust the locations where you can go diving. Also, CookoutRP V3 will be item based, so you won’t run out of things to find and places to explore.
Speaking about more places to go, will we finally see to the sky’s above San Andreas? Well according to the development team, oh yes you will! A flight school has been proposed as a business and the development team is working tirelessly to make something happen.
Let’s ponder over something that batdad stated he wants to bring to the city, and I don’t feel got enough attention! Fake Identifications. If possible, imagine the RP you could do with that! Also touched on was pocket bikes. Can you say pocket bike races through the city! Give me go-karts also and we’ll play dodge the coppers! Speaking of dodging the coppers, are we going to see skateboards running around the city? Well, that is a very real possibility. Stay tuned to see what all that entails.
Outside the confines of the city the community meeting discussed how to bring a larger population. With a larger population brings more RP and the need to bump the server slots. This was discussed and it won’t be an issue. If more room is needed in the city, it’s just a quick fix. Now on to how we bring in a larger population:
- Currently the city has no application to get your passport. This could change if we find ourselves heavily populated. If applications do return, they will do so on a slightly easier and more streamlined way.
- Vouching System will be implemented for people to vouch for a friend who they RP with, to bypass the application. However, this isn’t to be abused as their mess up’s will comeback to you since you vouched for them.
- Social Media – Prepare to see more CookoutRP present on different platforms. There once was a media role on the staff team but was never fulfilled correctly.
- Teaser Pages (Website & Discord). If you’re reading this, then it’s working!
- Streamers. Nothing shows off the city as well someone having a good time.
